White Station High School’s Muslim Student Association traveled to the Tennessee state capitol to participate in a Day on the Hill. Some members were able to sit in on a mock house session and debate a bill, getting a chance to share their own opinions.

Aashrita Marpadaga is a White Station senior returning for her third and final year on The Scroll. She is a board officer for the LaMissTenn Key Club district and vice president for the Telugu Association of Memphis Youth team. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her friends, listening to new music and going on runs around the city. Aashrita is deeply passionate about rewatching her favorite movies hundreds of times. She is extremely excited to see what The Scroll has in store for everyone this new year!
