Katie Lamm, Editor-in-Chief

Katie Lamm is a senior at White Station, and this is her third being a member of Scroll. She is a member of Scribbler, a bassist in jazz band, and a runner on the cross country team. She enjoys hanging out with friends, being outside, listening to music, watching animal videos, and spending time with her friends and family. Katie is thrilled with what her senior year will bring, and as the Editor-in-Chief, she’s excited to start another year on staff!

In his iconic straw hat, Bailey Davis (10) plays his banjo in the courtyard alongside other students during lunch. Davis has been playing for one to two years off and on but has been playing more often during his time as a White Station student, taking lessons from practical law teacher William Fernandez. “It’s such a social music; its part of our fabric, it really is, so when you see him out in the hallway playing banjo, people naturally gravitate to it, and that plus his personality — its the perfect combination,” Fernandez said.

Despite not knowing anyone, Spiller explained that she grew very close with the other members and they became “like family” to her.
