Grace Amgalan, Sports Team Leader

Grace Amgalan is a senior at WSHS and this year will be her third year on staff! Besides writing for The Scroll, she is involved in the student council and HOSA. She loves to travel, try new food and cheer for the Grizzlies with her family and friends. She is beyond excited to be a Sports Team Leader again and work with new athletes!

 Jim Kurts, wrestling coach, and Kayleigh Angona (10) go over tactics one last time before she steps onto the mat for her last round on December 22, 2023. On this day, she won against four wrestlers from Arlington, Bartlett, Collierville and Millington that day.

Aidan Farris (11) competed at the Houston Classics in April 2023, which was the first meet of the year. Farris said the pain of running was worth it in the end because the White Station team successfully placed third in the 4x800 meter relay.

This year, the White Station Cheer Team has a total of 19 cheerleaders with two captains, Nadia Robinson (12) and Ava Guazzo (12). Captains are chosen by the coach based on their tranquility, leadership skills and good organization skills.
