Memphis Pride Fest occurs every June, celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. Since 1970, Pride Month has been celebrated throughout the United States to remember the 1969 Stonewall uprising.

Say hi to Elias Clements. This senior is in his second year of journalism. Elias’s passion lies in any form of art, including music, visual art, and writing. This artistic mission is why he loves writing for The Scroll, specifically under the Arts & Entertainment section. Elias is also a build captain of the robotics team, Spartabot Team #5045, where he pursues a career in mechanical engineering. Outside of long robotics meetings and writing sessions, he can be found doing scratchboard art, sinking into an underground rap binge, or exploring new places with his friends.
