Emily Fargotstein Poe
Emily Fargotstein Poe passed away on January 24, 2018 in Memphis, Tennessee. Mrs. Poe was born on May 10, 1948 to her parents, Esta and Max Fargotstein. She graduated from East High School in Memphis. After receiving her master’s degree in Art Therapy and Education, Mrs. Poe taught English at White Station High School, where she is known fondly for her dedicated teaching style. She used her passion for teaching to educate Spartans for many years and has made a lasting impact on each and every one of them. Survived by her two sisters, two brothers, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, Mrs. Poe is remembered for the beloved sister, aunt and friend that she was.
