‘Tis the season – the holidays of fall and winter
On a cold December morning, Key Club members volunteered at cheer stations for the annual St. Jude Marathon. Over 100 members volunteered at this event, where they cheered and handed out snacks to marathon runners.

Adaria Crutcher (12) is the Managing Editor for the Scroll and the co-founder of StoryUnfinished, a mental health awareness group. Crutcher’s efforts helped her win the Keeper of the Dream award, given to those that are continuing Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy.
White Station students showcase the best of black excellence
Different from the Common App and Coalition App applications, QuestBridge’s National College Match application opens in late July and closes in early October. Finalists are notified in mid-October and prepare their supplementals for their ranked schools. They will be notified if they “matched” with their school in early December.

Due to recent immigration raids, a protest arose on Ming Ave and Wible Road, and protesters were seen on Highway 99 overpass bridge. Many residents came out to show the communities and immigrants their support to discourage Border Patrols.

Extra credit is an opportunity for struggling students to achieve their desired grade on an assignment. In today’s hectic world, there are many reasons why students might not get the best grades, making extra credit an effective way to lessen a student’s stress about school.
