Rachel Parkison, Student Life Team Leader

Rachel Parkison is a senior at White Station, second-year staff member, and the Student Life team leader. She is an active member of the Make-A-Wish Club and Green Team, as well as the WSHS marching band, where she has been playing trumpet since freshman year. After graduation, she plans to major in journalism with a minor in political science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In her free time she enjoys learning how to juggle and ranting about politics. She is extremely excited to be back on staff this year and is looking forward to her second year on The Scroll!

One of several Spartan teachers who pursues work outside White Station, Rachel Kannaday maintains an embroidery business called Sew Southern Style. This business, for which Kannaday embroiders everything from children’s clothing to towels to tote bags, is a source of supplementary income outside of teaching.
