Emily Greenberg’s book, ‘Alternative Facts,’ is a collection of satirical short stories focusing on prominent figures in the current American political climate. ‘Alternative Facts,’ published in 2025, is Greenberg’s first book, and its stories have won multiple awards.

Mahin Hasani, Arts and Entertainment Team Leader

Mahin Hasani is a senior at WSHS and is thrilled for her second year on The Scroll staff as the current team leader for Arts and Entertainment. She is passionate about studying chemistry and pursuing a career in the medical field; over the summer, she participated in the St. Jude High School Research Immersion program. Mahin has a black belt in Karate, and has trained in several other martial arts such as Jiu-Jitsu, Krav Maga and Kickboxing. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, eating, spending time with friends and family and playing guitar.
