Procrastinating homework is delaying or postponing completing the assignment. Despite the amount of homework that ends up accumulating due to procrastination, students may end up procrastinating because of stress or lack of energy due to excessive commitments outside of school.

Both Amy Yu (10) and Amy Zhang (11) are new to tutoring, only starting in the last two years. However, in both cases they had students improve their grades.

Extra credit is an opportunity for struggling students to achieve their desired grade on an assignment. In today’s hectic world, there are many reasons why students might not get the best grades, making extra credit an effective way to lessen a student’s stress about school.
Extra credit: a much needed sigh of relief
JUUL e-cigarettes have high levels of nicotine with one pod containing as much nicotine as 20 cigarettes. EVALI is a serious, sometimes fatal, lung disease caused by vaping, and thousands of cases have been reported.
Administration combats the vaping crisis
Depicted are just a few kinds of the vapes that skyrocketed teenage nicotine addiction. Vapes and e-cigarettes come in many different shapes and sizes, but most commonly, they look similar to flash drives, which allows them to go unnoticed by those unaware of what vapes are.

Keyarash Hatamzadeh, Chief Editor

Keyarash Hatamzadeh is a very involved student at White Station High School who has excellence, ambition, and determination running through his veins. As a Senior, Hatamzadeh is returning to staff for his third year. As Editor in Chief of The Scroll, Hatamzadeh plans to bring positive change and progress to the publication. Hatamzadeh is an avid sports fan of the Memphis Grizzlies, Memphis Tigers, Tennessee Titans, and Manchester United soccer Club. He loves the city of Memphis and all the culture it has to offer. At White Station, Hatamzadeh is the Co-President of the Youth in Government Club, participates in the Co-Ed Volleyball Club, is a third-year student council member, and is even a devoted DECA participant. Not to mention his participation in the Memphis Sonics Elite MAM basketball team. His passions are politics, sports, and writing.
