Both Amy Yu (10) and Amy Zhang (11) are new to tutoring, only starting in the last two years. However, in both cases they had students improve their grades.

Apple came out with another form of wireless earbuds called Beats. Beats quickly became popular for a few years due to social media influence, expert marketing and a wide variety of models and colors.

Generation Z, or simply Gen Z, is defined as the generation that grew up in a digital age, with technology and social media playing an integral part in their lives. The incorporation of technology has the potential to transform the workplace for both employers and employees.

Extra credit is an opportunity for struggling students to achieve their desired grade on an assignment. In today’s hectic world, there are many reasons why students might not get the best grades, making extra credit an effective way to lessen a student’s stress about school.
Extra credit: a much needed sigh of relief
JUUL e-cigarettes have high levels of nicotine with one pod containing as much nicotine as 20 cigarettes. EVALI is a serious, sometimes fatal, lung disease caused by vaping, and thousands of cases have been reported.
Administration combats the vaping crisis
Depicted are just a few kinds of the vapes that skyrocketed teenage nicotine addiction. Vapes and e-cigarettes come in many different shapes and sizes, but most commonly, they look similar to flash drives, which allows them to go unnoticed by those unaware of what vapes are.

Ian McMillin

Ian McMillin, Director of Podcast

Ian McMillin is a junior at White Station and is excited to begin his second year on Scroll staff. He is especially excited about the new addition to the Scroll: the Spartan Experience Podcast. Ian enjoys sports and film, and directed a short film that will appear in the Indie Memphis Youth Film Festival. He plays golf and basketball, and competes in Model UN and Mock Trial throughout the school year. If Ian could meet any celebrity it would either be Quentin Tarantino or Waka Flocka Flame. Ego sum pisces!
